In Rwanda, it is traditional to negotiate with the shopkeepers over price - our African friends helped us with this!
On 11th June 2013 9 pupils and 6 staff from Cedars School, 30 iPads, 15 suitcases of resources, and equipment to network 2 schools and a charity centre will travel to Rwamagana in eastern Rwanda for a 14 day voluntary service trip. After our visit to the Genocide museum, we went into the centre of Kigali to visit some traditional craft shops. We were able to find lots of presents and souvenirs to bring back home.
