Rwamagana market

This afternoon, we headed back into Rwamagana to change some more money, and also to visit the market.

This is where people in the area buy the food, clothes and commodities they need - there is a little of everything!
You can buy cloth, and have ladies make you an outfit while you wait - using old pedal powered Singer sewing machines - all the way from Clydebank!

You can buy all kinds of food - small fish

tomatoes and onions

different kinds of flour

and bananas.

There were clothes

and shoes.

The boys bartered for a football

while others browsed elsewhere.

It was very different from taking a trip to Tesco, but basically the same idea!
