Rwanda Expedition 2013

On 11th June 2013 9 pupils and 6 staff from Cedars School, 30 iPads, 15 suitcases of resources, and equipment to network 2 schools and a charity centre will travel to Rwamagana in eastern Rwanda for a 14 day voluntary service trip. Pupils will work with a charity called “Aid for Education” on a range of different projects in the local community as well as training staff, teachers and students on how to use the iPad and the internet for educational and administrative functions.

Visiting!

After visiting the mayor we returned to the centre to make up some bags of clothes to take out to some of the children supported by CMF.

This family live in one room about 2 m square. There is a mother, 4 children, and 2 goats who sleep there:
